Can I recommend Blog posts?

We are very happy to spread the word about research, media or other Ocean/Marine Life news. Please send an email to divein@4everoceans.eco and share a link to the content and a short description of what you want us to blod about. Thanks for helping us find and share news about our oceans.

Is 4EO allowed to use photos and images uploaded by users?

4EO would be pleased with permission to occassionally use users media for promoting the site and Ocean conservation causes through social media sites, or 4EO. We ill always attribute the content to the owner. We expect that educational use by scientiists, teachers and/or students for research and education applications is implicitely allowed. We will never sell your content.

Who owns the photos and videos once they are uploaded?

The ownership remains yours. 4EO supports Creative Commons licensing, as our primary intent is to increase ocean knowledge through building free curriculum for schools, helping scientists watch our reefs around the world every day and provide resources and education for all to increase responsibility to help keep our ocean waters and the marine life it nurtures healthy.

What are the parameters for Video Storage?

Videos can be up to 60 seconds, mpeg and mov files are supported. up to XXK resolution. Files cannont be largr than xx.

What are the details I should know about uploading my photos?

Supported file formats for photos are: jpg, jpeg, png, webp, heic, tiff, bmp, avif, gif (animations) Longest side stored is 2400px. Thumbnails are stored and displayed at 640 px wide. Any size or aspect ratio is accepted. Please read our page on usage and ownership. You remain the owner of content uploaded to 4 Ever Oceans.
